What Students Say

“I have a disability and appreciate that Willow Street instructors include modifications to various poses as part of their routine instruction. Not having to ask eliminates the feeling of being singled out by having to publicly identify yourself as different from the group.”

– Sarah

More Reviews

“I so appreciate Willow Street’s commitment to health and safety, from deep attention to alignment and non-injurious physical practice to outdoor classes during the pandemic to words that support my mental well-being. I’m looking forward to coming back to class once the weather warms up enough for outdoor classes again!”

– Emily

Tonight (and all Tuesdays at 7pm)! Live and IN PERSON - Yoga Fundamentals with Lisa K! Join us! Check out our website for more info.

What began as a way to heal a running injury, became an important (and essential) part of Lisa's life. Always in a hurry to get somewhere or do something, she found that yoga allowed her to slow down, breathe deeply, and move more easily throughout the day.

Lisa's classes include an emphasis on good alignment and breath work, and on assisting students in developing their own yoga practices. Lisa believes that yoga is accessible for everyone and loves to introduce new students to the practice.

She is thankful to have had the opportunity to study with wonderful teachers such as Lucy Lomax, Tara Lemerise, Kathy Donnelly, and many, many more. Lisa, RYT-500, received her training at the Yoga Center of Columbia and has also studied at Duke University's Integrative Yoga for Seniors Professional Training.
