Heart Opening Cacao and Soundbath with Johanna Olivas

Saturday, January 10th

3:00 pm - 4:30 pm EST | In-Studio | Cost: $40

DSC06574 (2).jpg

Join Johanna for an evening of heart-opening cacao, guided meditation, and soothing sound. We’ll work with the Mayan energy of 1 Q’anil—the seed—an auspicious day for planting intentions, nurturing creativity, and calling in new growth.

You’ll be guided through a brief teaching on the meaning of 1 Q’anil and how to harness this energy in your everyday life, followed by a warm cup of ceremonial cacao to gently awaken the heart. From there, we’ll move into a grounding meditation circle and a restorative soundbath using crystal bowls and other vibrational instruments to support deep rest and reset.

This workshop is ideal if you’re ready to:

  • Set clear, heart-centered intentions for a new cycle

  • Learn how to work with the Mayan day energy in a practical way

  • Experience the combined benefits of cacao, meditation, and sound healing

All are welcome.

Friday, January 23rd

Trouble sleeping? Waking between 2-4 am? Not falling to sleep before 2 am? You are not alone. Ayurveda teaches that as we age, we can feel more anxious, restless,
overheated, and frustrated during the night. We may find ourselves lying awake when we desperately want to rest.

This gentle, experiential class offers tools that can bring immediate relief. You’ll learn why sleep becomes more fragile over time, how to soothe the nervous
system (to deepen sleep) using simple Ayurvedic rituals, and experience the grounding practice of a mini abhyanga (Ayurvedic self-oil massage).

You will leave with:
- A simple 3-step Ayurvedic night routine
- A short breath practice to calm the racing mind
- A guided rest ritual you can repeat at home

- A taste of the practices we’ll deepen in the upcoming 6-week series

This intro class stands alone and is the perfect starting place if you are considering joining the full Restful Evenings: A 6-Week Ayurvedic Journey into Deep Sleep Series.

This is an ONLINE ONLY workshop.

Sound bath facilitator Jasmine will play multiple instruments to support relaxation and well-being, including crystal sound bowls, drums, gong, and chimes.

No meditation experience or flexibility is needed! All are welcome, just show up to receive.

Participants will be lying down on yoga mats/blankets throughout the sound bath. If you’d like to sit in a chair rather than lying down or have any specific concerns, please reach out.

Bring a yoga mat and/or blanket, a pillow, and a scarf to place over your eyes for your comfort. If you don’t have a yoga mat, there will be mats and bolsters available at the studio.

Slide & Glide: Happy Hips with Tricia Kull

Sunday, February 8th

2:00 pm - 4:00 pm EST | In-Studio Only | Cost: $45

Willow_Street_Yoga_74_websize.jpg

Join us for this two hour Fascial Release workshop with Tricia Kull!

Fascia is connective tissue that surrounds your muscles, blood vessels, nerves, and organs. When it’s healthy, fascia allows your muscles to slide and glide as you move, but when your fascia gets tight and stuck, it can restrict your movement and breath, and even cause pain.

In this workshop, we will use tools, simple techniques, and yoga poses to help release tension held in the fascia of the lower body, focusing on the hips.  This practice will help create slide and glide in the tissues of lower body making space for more easeful movement.

Props will be provided. No experience necessary. This is in person ONLY.

Winter begs us to rest deeply, grounding and releasing what weighs us down emotionally or energetically.

This experience will feature movement, breathing practice, and guided sound meditation designed to prepare your body and mind for truly sound sleep. Through specific playing techniques on sound bowls and gongs, this practice can help you release tension, quiet mental chatter, and shift into a state of deep rest and regeneration.

Whether you have trouble falling asleep or want to improve the quality of your sleep, this workshop will support your body’s natural transition from wakefulness to sleep and give you tips/experience on how to craft your own sleep routine.

Slow Flow & Silent Tea Ceremony Meditation with Stacey Davis

Saturday, February 28th

3:00 pm - 5:00 pm EST | In-Studio Only | Cost: $40

close-up-teacup-pouring-tea.jpg

The Slow Flow & Silent Tea Ceremony Meditation will start with a slow, deep stretching flow where you will be guided to hold poses and move in and out of poses to check in with their bodies, how you are feeling, and identify where in the body you might be holding tension.

We will utilize breath, movement, and mindfulness to release tension, deeply stretch, and unwind. We will also go through a quick chakra flow to open and unblock our chakras.

After our slow flow, we will begin our silent tea meditation. We will hold space to set our
intentions for the tea meditation. Once everyone has chosen their tea, the silence will begin as we mindfully steep our tea and savor every sip.

Once we conclude the tea ceremony, we will hold space for journaling and group reflection. A variety of organic teas and mugs will be provided during the workshop. Students are invited to bring a journal with them to set intentions
and journal throughout the workshop.
