I wish so much we could meet in person, but for the safety and wellbeing of all of us, the class will be on Zoom for now. That may not be your favorite way to take class, but let me tell you, it is way better than no yoga at all! In fact, you may find doing yoga in your own home, without the need for travel, may have its advantages, if you give it a chance.
This will be a gentle class where you can rest and restore, relax and let go, some of the most beneficial things you can do for yourself at this time of year. And with Omicron breathing down our necks, a gentle yoga class may not only help strengthen the immune system but also relieve anxiety and improve mood, something most of us could use right now.
These online gentle classes will include lots of supine stretches and twists, some sitting and standing poses,Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep), restoratives, yogic breathwork, and meditation (not all in the same class!) The online classes will be a little shorter than the in-person classes — from 11am until 12:15pm.
So please consider coming tomorrow and invite anyone you know who could use a healing, relaxing, loving gift to themselves.
