Sunday, May 3rd

2:00 pm - 4:00 pm EST | In Person Only | Cost: $45

Yoga Eagle Pose

Join us for this two hour Fascial Release workshop with Tricia Kull:

Fascia is connective tissue that surrounds your muscles, blood vessels, nerves, and organs. When it’s healthy, fascia allows your muscles and other tissues to slide and glide as you move, but when your fascia gets tight and stuck, it can restrict your movement and cause tension and pain.

In this workshop, we will use tools, simple techniques, and yoga poses to help release tension held in the fascia of the upper body.  This practice will help you to find more space, calm, and ease in your head and neck.

Props will be provided. No experience necessary. This is in person ONLY.

“Shinrin yoku,” “Forest Bathing,” “Nature Therapy,” “Outdoor Mindfulness,” many terms to describe a rather simple thing: time spent in nature is healing and restorative. Come learn why and be introduced to a few simple practices that might serve to inspire and deepen your own
nature-based wellness routine.

You’ll learn the science behind forest bathing, its origins in 1990’s Japan, and the ways it is being used in the United States today. Whether you spend hours a week outdoors or can’t remember the last time you sat under a tree, this session will offer new ways of thinking about your relationship with nature and with the more than human world.

Join Susan West Montgomery, a Kripalu-certified Outdoor Mindfulness Guide for this free intro session ahead of the summer mindfulness sessions.
